GNTV has a staff of full-time and part-time media professionals, some ordained but all committed and passionate, who bring their gifts and graces to support and shape the ministry of GNTV.
David grew up in Macon, GA. His family attended Vineville United Methodist Church where he earned his Eagle Scout as a member of Troop 19. Since being a teenager, David has been in ministry with GNTV Media Ministry, traveling and working with the organization to provide lights, sound, and video for hundreds of church events, retreats, and concerts. He is a 1997 graduate with a B.S. in Management from the Georgia Institute of Technology (North Avenue Trade School) in Atlanta, GA. He completed his Master of Divinity in 2007 from Candler School of Theology at Emory University in Atlanta, GA. David was ordained a Full Elder in the South Georgia Annual Conference in 2010. Since September 2012, he is currently appointed to Macon Urban Ministries (the parent ministry of GNTV) with responsibility for being Executive Director. David was married in 2004 to Hope and has two beautiful little girls named Sarah and Hannah.

Laura started working at GNTV as a teenager in 1999. She started as a volunteer, then worked part-time while in school supporting the ministry’s television station and working at events. Laura earned a B.A. in Film and Video and graduated in 2006 from Georgia State University in Atlanta, GA. Laura began working full time with GNTV after graduation and is now a part of the leadership team. Laura and her husband, Derek, have two exuberant children, Ashlynn and Davis.

Paul started at GNTV fresh out of high school in 2007. He worked part time while studying for a degree in Communications and Information Technology from Macon State College. He came on full time when he graduated and primarily works in the Video Department as a director, systems tech, camera and graphics operator.
Josh grew up in Macon, Georgia as a member of Forest Hills UMC, where he began playing in the worship band and learning about A/V from his father in the sixth grade. He continued to volunteer in these capacities of music and media until he went off to college at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where he served as the Worship Director of the Wesley Foundation for three years. From 2014-2019, Josh interned at GNTV, honing his skills in audio engineering, video production, and lighting design. Josh graduated in May 2019 with a B.S. in Business Administration and joined the GNTV full-time staff at the conclusion of the summer internship.
Mason is a graduate of Mercer University where he majored in Technical Communication. Mason found he was passionate about music and audio early in high school after starting to learn how to record and produce music. He is also passionate about videography and photography, along with most things related to multimedia. Mason interned with us for two summers before joining full time in August of 2019.
Thomas grew up in multiple places starting in Georgia, then moving to Alaska and Delaware. In Alaska, his passion for audio-visual production began alongside his love for concerts. He started the internship program in 2017 and went full-time in October 2020. Thomas graduated from Central Georgia Technical College with his certificate in Commercial Truck Driving. He also currently serves his local church in Warner Robins running audio/lighting for the youth group.
Kendo is born and raised in Macon Ga , he first became interested in production through being a church musician through out his teenage years. Kendo then decided to purse audio/production at the next level. Kendo graduated from Full Sail University with an associate of science degree through the recording arts degree program in 2020
Stephen graduated from Georgia State in 2019 with a degree in video production with a minor in marketing. As filmmaker, he enjoys telling stories through creative editing. He has worked on movies and music videos and has filmed weddings, engagements and other life events prior to joining the staff at GNTV in 2023. Stephen is married to his wonderful wife, Sam. Together they have three cats and a dog.
Robert recently graduated from Mercer University with a Bachelors of Science in Engineering with a biomedical specialization and a chemistry minor. He is passionate about music and is an experienced brass musician. Robert found the internship through a recommendation from a friend and discovered that he loves the chaos of live event production. He interned for two summers before going full time in August 2023.
Rachel graduated from University of North Texas with a degree in Media Arts. With a love for all things video, she worked on a variety of pursuits including sports, legal, government, and creative filming. She interned with GNTV for one summer before joining full time in August 2023.
Spencer grew up in Oklahoma, where he volunteered for several churches with an emphasis on livestreaming and audio. Spencer Attended both East Central University in Ada, OK and the University of Oklahoma in Norman, OK, where he worked on staff as the Tech Manager for both. Spencer interned with GNTV nearly every summer until he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and a minor in Electrical Engineering. Upon completing his degree, Spencer worked at the United Methodist Foundation as Tech Manager for a year before joining GNTV full time in September 2023.
Lori is our amazing office assistant. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Art and Education from Stetson University. Before coming to GNTV, she worked in a nonprofit agency as the activity director for several adult senior centers and also has experience in retail, human resources, and substance abuse education and management. Her skills and background in office management is ideal for her current position as a support to the GNTV office staff.
Lori is active in her community church as a deaconess, personal ministries coordinator, and Bible teacher. She loves working with people of all backgrounds and is always willing to lend a helpful hand.
Lori is married to Richard and they have three adult children, Lindy, Michael, and Aubrey. Lori’s greatest joy is being a grandmother. Her greatest desire is that all her children know Jesus.
Rev. Dr. Donald R. Wood is an Ordained Elder in the United Methodist Church. He received his Masters of Divinity from Candler School of Theology at Emory University and his Doctorate from McCormick Theological Seminary at the University of Chicago. Before moving to South Georgia, Don served churches in the Central Pennsylvania Conference. He was the Executive Director of Good News Television (GNTV) from its beginnings as a cable television channel in 1976 to an Audio/Video/Lighting Production Ministry that provides event support for more than 30 events per year. He retired in 2012. He has successfully supported events across the United States and in more than 15 countries worldwide.
